about
I wrote this track with a more cinematic perspective in mind as I envisioned it being played in a documentary. I wanted to try and capture life and movement while still maintaining an unobtrusive atmosphere. Where some cinematic music evokes action and heavy inspiration with a kinesthetic mindset, I wanted this song to be inspiring yet abstract at the same time, a way for the listener to observe and connect with their surroundings without intruding on them.
On a distant planet, brutal chaos and anarchy had destroyed most of the civilization. People had to fight to stay alive and not get destroyed by the growing empire. Deep in one of the biggest cities lived a boy. The boy unlike other boys would not partake in the violent crimes of the people. He hated the society he lived in and longed for a better place. One day the boy left the city in search for a better life. He almost had lost all hope when a portal to another world opened up to him. He went through the portal and found himself standing in a golden field of wheat. He looked up and saw a sea of stars through the atmosphere which made him feel a comfort he had not felt for many years. This was his new home..the other side.
